Local World Review considers collaborations that fit its focus on local places and help readers explore them with care. Send a concise proposal through the Contact page, including the intended audience, format and any relevant commercial relationship.

Possible collaborations

Suitable proposals may include clearly bounded reader resources, relevant projects with place-focused organisations, or partner placements alongside material about local geography. We consider whether a collaboration suits the subject and whether its purpose can be explained plainly. A proposal is not a guarantee of acceptance.

Partner placements

We accept standing partner placements where they are relevant to readers and can be clearly separated from editorial work. These placements are labelled as partner material wherever they appear. We do not present a paid placement as an independent recommendation or allow a partner to determine editorial conclusions.

Editorial boundaries

Partnerships do not buy control over coverage, conclusions or corrections. If a collaboration touches an editorial subject, we disclose the relationship and keep the distinction between partner material and independent editorial work visible. We may decline proposals that do not fit the publication or cannot be labelled clearly.
